Tanya Barnett, affectionately known as the “Real” Wife Coach, is a relationship and empowerment speaker. She is the author of Being a Wife Just Got Real: Things I Wish I Knew, Before I Said, I Do“. She is an expert relationship panelist for the Congressional Black Caucus.
She gives women the tools they need to navigate their personal renewal and transformation. They receive one-on-one coaching to empower them to create a healthy mental, emotional and spiritual environment.
She coaches women in preparation for marriage. She also provides wives with tools to use to become a better version of themselves in order to create stronger marriages and families.

Tanya is a U.S. Air Force veteran and the founder of Forever Free Books, which is a mobile literacy nonprofit. Forever Free Books provides story time, free books and fun crafts to children in low-income communities.
She has a Bachelor’s in Social Science from the University of Maryland, University College. She is a marathoner, triathlete, and an avid book reader. She and her husband, Don, have three awesome children.
